Approved fruits are brought to our stall at Beo Crescent Market, displayed fresh every morning for customers to see.

When your order comes in, we hand-pick each fruit individually. No pre-packed boxes sitting in storage.

Four Generations of Fruit Obsession
What began with a single market stall has been passed down through four pairs of hands. Each generation added something — more variety, more reach, more trust — but the core never changed: know your fruit, be honest about it, and earn your customers one at a time.
1969
The First Stall
Our great-grandmother opens her stall at Beo Crescent Market, near Tiong Bahru. Our grandmother carries it forward through the years — keeping the family presence at the market, one regular customer at a time.
1988
Ah Heng Expands the Range
Our father takes over and spots what others miss — every stall sells the same fruits. He starts sourcing more varieties and rarer finds. A loyal customer opens the door to corporate fruit fairs, which grow into a pillar of the business. He runs it all alone, for decades.
2020
Heng Fruits Goes Online
COVID changes everything. Ben — Ah Heng's son — joins to help expand the business. Father is hesitant at first, but the Shopify store works. A WhatsApp channel grows to 440+ followers keeping up with what's fresh, what's ending, and what's worth buying.
Today
Still Sourcing, Still Family
Ah Heng still goes down to source the fruit himself every morning. Ben runs the online side, the stall, and the WhatsApp channel. The hours are longer than expected — 5am starts, no public holidays — but so is the pride in what they've built.
