Grown in Korea's Chungcheongbuk-do region and freshly imported to Singapore, this white fleshed peach (known locally as baekdo) is one of summer's most fragrant fruits. Heng Fruits, a fourth-generation family business since 1969, brings you this seasonal favourite fresh from the source.

• Origin: Korea (Chungju and Janghowon growing regions)
• Flavour: Sweet and low in acidity, with a delicate floral aroma and soft, juicy white flesh
• Nutrition: A good source of vitamin C and dietary fibre
• Best for: Eating fresh, or chilled as a refreshing summer treat
• Shelf life: If firm upon receipt, leave at room temperature to ripen for 1 to 2 days. Once soft and fragrant, refrigerate and consume within 2 to 3 days
